About Us
BearExtender n3 was developed by a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Product Design major and a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, New York City, who has been working in the technology sector in product development since that time.
BearExtender n3 was created to help students connect to the University of California, Berkeley wireless network called “AirBears.”
Due to the size of the campus and the number of buildings, wireless coverage of the campus is incomplete. BearExtender n3 helps students connect on campus and off campus.
Since it's launch in 2009, the use of BearExtender has grown greatly, allowing travelers to get Wi-Fi in places they could not previously. BearExtender is also used in corporate environments as well as by the US Armed Forces.
